According to Putin’s “buddy,” there are four reasons why Russia might deploy nuclear weapons.

The magnitude of Russia’s reprisal will depend on the threat it confronts, according to Medvedev, who also suggested that Moscow may use nuclear weapons. He claimed that the “military operation” Moscow is conducting in Ukraine is defensive.

For four reasons, Russia might use nuclear weapons.

In an interview, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev disclosed that Russia’s defensive action had warned Ukraine that the war would not end.

Moscow: Europe has been embroiled in conflict for the past six months. Since the invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been accused of employing prohibited weapons multiple times. Russia has often threatened to launch a nuclear assault. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s top assistant and former president Dmitry Medvedev stated on Friday that Moscow will only use nuclear weapons in four situations, which could pose a threat to Russia. In the interview, he claimed that even if Ukraine publicly abandons its desire to join NATO, Russia will not cease its military actions there.

When asked about whether Russia’s military doctrine permits the use of nuclear weapons, Medvedev responded in the negative. Moscow has made its nuclear stance public, so it is not secret, the former president retorted. He provided four justifications for using nuclear bombs. Having said that, none of these circumstances have yet materialised.

These four scenarios justify the use of nuclear weapons.

In the interview, Medvedev stated that there are four possible uses for nuclear weapons. None of the following have occurred thus far: nuclear missiles are launched, nuclear weapons are used, vital infrastructure that houses nuclear weapons is attacked, or actions that endanger Russia’s existence. The former Russian president listed potential justifications for using nuclear weapons but noted that, unlike certain Western nations, Russia has never done so.

Zelensky’s remarks, according to Medvedev, were to blame for the conflict, and Russia would retaliate in proportion to the threat it faced. He claimed that the “military operation” Moscow is conducting in Ukraine is defensive. Medvedev ascribed the Russian assault to Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, who said that “Kyiv can regain its nuclear capabilities.” He claimed that while Zelensky first intended to frighten us, the effect was to make things more sombre.
